MERCURY MAMBO and AOL® Latino Team Up To Drive Content for Ford’s Mi Negocio Web Hub


Hispanic Entrepreneurial Community Features Prominent Leaders


Austin, TX, September 13, 2006 – Mercury Mambo today announced the agency has teamed with AOL® Latino to provide content and support for the acclaimed Mi Negocio web hub, an entrepreneurial community for Hispanics, sponsored by Ford Motor Company and serving the Hispanic business community since 2004.


The site, http://www.ford.com/go/minegocio, is presented by AOL Latino and aims at providing Hispanic small business owners and “dreamers” (those wanting to start their own business) information on key topics to help them develop business and access to successful Latino business owners, called Motivadores who will provide advice and insight on a variety of topics through a variety of outlets.


Mercury Mambo, renowned for their contacts in the Latino community, has provided the Motivadores for the topical discussions that are focused on entrepreneurial development, financial planning and marketing. To kick off the campaign, Mercury Mambo secured Lionel Sosa, named by Time Magazine as one of the 25 most influential Hispanics. Sosa is the author of the recently published book, Think and Grow Rich – A Latino Choice. He is also the founder of MATT.org, Mexican and Americans Thinking Together, or MATT.org, a non-profit organization created for everyone concerned about Mexican-American life and issues.


As part of their efforts, the Mercury Mambo team secures the Motivadores, assists in developing content and relevance to the audience and helps deliver the following outreach vehicles for the website:


*  AOL Latino Community Message Board Discussions/Blogs -- Motivadores will engage in conversation with the members of the community by providing their expertise on relevant key topics.

*Video Podcasts - each podcast will consist of questions and answers relating to a key topic.

*Monthly Newsletters - Motivadores will write 2 monthly newsletters targeting small business owners and “Dreamers.” Registered users will receive the monthly newsletter relevant to their segment.
